Advisory / Errata Messages in Vacation Builder

Vacation Builder now supports displaying supplier-specific advisory and errata messages directly within the shopping results. These messages, built as a Booking Rule, appear beneath the Supplier whenever the configured filters are met and the rule is marked Show On Web. The feature helps both travelers and internal users see important Supplier notes earlier in the booking process, improving transparency and reducing the risk of confusion or post-booking issues.

A Booking Rule will need to be set up to control the message to display within the Shop Results

Currently, the following filters are available for determining when an advisory message displays:

• Supplier ID

• Product Code

• Brand ID

• Relevant Date Ranges

• Show On Web

HTML formatting is supported, allowing you to style the message as needed (bolding, links, line breaks, highlighting, etc.).

These messages will also display:

• Res Shopping Cart

• Res Documents

If all matching criteria are satisfied, the advisory message will display in the search results.
