Payments Overview

Payments options within Softrip consists of Processing payments via number of payment methods, apply refund, review payments history, Send Payment link to your passengers, and link to a Profit and Loss reports. In this article, we will review each of these menu options.

Add Payment

Within the Reservation system, users can have number of payment options such as Credit Card, Wire transfer, Payment Guarantee. Below is a demonstration of how the Credit Card process works within an existing Reservation.

Payment History

The Payment History screen grants users the ability to comprehensively review all transactions associated with a reservation. For internal users, this feature provides unrestricted access to view all payments made across reservations. Conversely, external users, such as passengers, are granted access solely to their own transaction records, ensuring privacy and security. This distinction ensures that internal stakeholders have full visibility into payment activity, while external users maintain control over their personal transaction history.

Within this screen, the internal users also have a way to export their transactions into a spreadsheet.

Apply Refund

Directs user to process refunds in an individual reservation.

Send Payment Link

The Softrip Direct Unique Link to Pay feature empowers our customers by enabling them to effortlessly send payment links to their contacts or passengers in real-time. It serves as an alternative method for collecting payments, bypassing the traditional process of pushing reservations through a queue and having your customers to login.

Integration with the Softrip Payments Platform grants seamless access to the Softrip Direct Unique Link to Pay feature. Upon integration, customers gain immediate access to this capability, streamlining their payment collection workflow.
