  • EVT-CUSTPROD-OPS: Triggers a memo creation or queue addition to notify guests via email when a custom product transitions to the Active or Internal status, enabling efficient management of the product lifecycle.

  • EVT-CUSTPROD-SETACTIVE: Generates a memo or adds to a specific queue to notify guests via email when setting a custom product to the Active status, ensuring smooth transitions and timely actions specific to active status only.

  • EVT-CUSTPROD-SETINTERNAL: Creates a memo or adds to a specific queue to notify guests via email when setting a custom product to Internal status, streamlining processes and actions specific to internal status only.

  • EVT-CUSTPROD-SETPENDING: Initiates memo creation or queue addition to notify guests via email when setting a custom product to Pending status, ensuring systematic handling of pending statuses.

How does it work?

Add to a Queue

  • Product → Booking Rules

  • + to create the new Rule

  • Rule Area start typing in the type of Event that meets your business requirement.

  • Rule type = Execute and add description to identify the Rule more clearly.

  • Add to Queue: Select Add to Queue and select the Queue Code you wish the Reservation to be added to.

  • Apply Filters as needed and Save

 

Create Memo

  • Product → Booking Rules

  • + to create the new Rule

  • Rule Area start typing in the type of Event that meets your business requirement.

  • Rule type = Execute and add description to identify the Rule more clearly.

  • Create Memo: Select “Create Memo”

    • Select one of the Date Types.

      • Book Date: The date the reservation is created.

      • Departure Date: The departure date of the reservation.

      • Change Date: The date when a change took place on the reservation. (Note: this logic will not apply in certain condition, Ex: EVT-RES-NEW will not make sense as a no change will occur on a new reservation)

    • Date offset: Number of days on or after the selected date type. Ex: Off Set of 1 would mean, create memo 1 day after the Reservation is created.

    • Created For: The user you wish to assign the memo to.

    • Memo Text: Text you wish to create when the Event Memo is created.

    • Use Business days: Create memos to be for weekdays only Monday thru Friday.

  • Apply Filters as needed and Save.
