Inventory (Groups)
Overview
There are two different options available to users when creating inventory. The first option is by creating new, custom inventory and the second is by depleting existing inventory from a tour. Â
After accessing the groups management screen, users will be able to view and set-up their inventory under the left hand navigation menu. Â

There are two conditions regarding the inventory will be built around the group. The first relates to how the services were added to the group, and the second relates to the tour tour type selection when initially entering in the details into the group header.Â
Services
There are three avenues that users can take when building services into a group.
Copy from an existing product
If users copy from an existing product, it will copy all services, including block code. In this scenario, users will need to access the "custom inventory screen" to set-up and take inventory for that group.  Â
Note: This is not a required step if users are comfortable with pulling from the inventory that already exists in that block. This could be an issue, however, with users being able to control the inventory available for that specific group if the group is sharing inventory with the general public. Â
You can skip this step if they are fine with taking from the main inventory, but there is a chance of selling out to regular reservations then before you fill your group.
Adding services through the grid
If you add services through the grid, there is no inventory/blockCode and if you have inventory then you need to specifically add a BlockCode in the form and then use the Tour Series Inventory option to create your inventory.
Search and add services through the navigation bar
If you search and add services, the system copies those services as custom with no blockCode/Inventory. If you then need inventory, you can edit the item later, add the blockCode and then again use the Tour Series Inventory option to create the inventory.
