Intro

These rule areas offer businesses the flexibility to customize various components of the standard Softrip Document, including acceptance and agreement statements, introductory and cover letter text, and terms and conditions, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with the specific needs and preferences of the group.Product Booking Rules provide users with the ability to control a variety of different functions throughout the system as well as customize display information on items such as customer invoices and documents. 

Each action is defined by a “Rule Area."  Each rule area has specific functionality associated to it.  These rule areas are out of the box and are the driving force to see results for the particular rules created.  

Other options are available under booking rules such as customizing the display of the text entered under rule texts, and adding filters under the filter tab to specify if the rule applies to specific Suppliers, Brands, Markets, Service ID’s, Customer ID’s and more.

These rule areas offer businesses the flexibility to customize various aspects of their travel documents, including cover letters, header and footer content, and summary text, to meet their specific needs and ensure clarity, professionalism, and branding consistency in their travel document presentation.

TIP01 through TTIP06 or "Travel Tips" 

There are six (6) different travel tips that can be added to the documents.  These can include information to be relayed to the customers prior to their trip, destination information, and general contact information in case of an emergency.

Note: The number of Travel Tips available is differs between Softrip Online and Softrip Enterprise.  If a Softrip Online user wants to display travel tips, then all details can be added into one rule.  

  • TTIP01 - Getting Ready to Go:
    This rule area covers the preparation phase before embarking on your journey. It may include information on what to pack, essential travel documents needed (like passports, visas, tickets), health precautions or vaccinations required for certain destinations, travel insurance, and any other preparations necessary before setting off on your trip.

  • TTIP02 - About Your Flights:
    This rule area focuses on all aspects related to air travel. It could include information on booking flights, selecting seats, baggage allowances and restrictions, airport procedures (check-in, security, boarding), flight delays or cancellations, in-flight services, and tips for a comfortable flight experience.

  • TTIP03 - Arrival and Departure:
    This rule area likely covers the process of arriving at and departing from airports or other transportation hubs. It may include information on ground transportation options (such as taxis, shuttles, or rental cars), airport facilities and services, immigration and customs procedures, connecting flights, and tips for smooth transitions between different stages of your journey.

  • TTIP04 - Accommodations:
    This rule area pertains to arrangements for lodging during your trip. It may include information on different types of accommodations available (hotels, hostels, vacation rentals), booking procedures, check-in/check-out times, amenities offered, room preferences, and any specific considerations or requirements for staying at certain accommodations.

  • TTIP05 - At Your Destination:
    This rule area focuses on activities and considerations once you've arrived at your destination. It could cover local transportation options, sightseeing recommendations, dining options, safety tips, cultural etiquette, language considerations, and any other relevant information to help you make the most of your time in the destination.

  • TTIP06 - Customer Service:
    This rule area deals with customer support and assistance throughout your travel experience. It may include information on how to contact customer service representatives for assistance with bookings, itinerary changes, complaints, or emergencies. It could also outline the company's policies regarding refunds, compensation for disruptions, and general support available to travelers.
