Creating Lists Overview

Softrip provides the ability to allow their contacts or passengers to create dynamic reservations through Vacation Builder.  This option allows users to shop for services in either single or multiple destinations as well as choose different services within those destinations.  In order to do this, product lists must be created in the Product application. 

 

 

 

List Examples

Different service types should be added to different, separate lists.  Once the lists are created and the services are added, each lists will be added to the cities they fall under.  The below are examples of lists that are typically created in Product.   

 

  • Hotel Lists

Workflow 

The below will provide an outline of the overall workflow to follow when creating a "list" in product. 

  1. Setup your Suppliers, Services, and Rates 

  2. Create product lists (see above) 

  3. Add the services to the list 

  4. Add a markup value  to the pricing profile

  5. Set the status to "active" when the product is ready to "sell" 

  6. Access FIT cities in Product 

  7. Add the lists to the appropriate cities
