Overview

In order to display pricing on a group, users have the opportunity to add costs, a mark-up value, and a total price to present to their passengers on a Quote Letter.

These costs can be added to each of the components on the group and can either be rolled into one package price, or can be broken down per item.

These costs can first be added to each of the components through the grid.  Then, the markup value and selling price can added into the cost summary screen.

Pricing Filters

Users have the ability to choose a variety of different pricing filters in the services screen.  These filters are displayed as Y/N fields in the grid.  

  • Per 24 hours

    • Used for car rentals.  If "Y", an extra day will be automatically added to the car rental. 

  • Price Per Duration

    • If "Y", the service will be priced for the entire duration.  If left blank, the service will be priced on a nightly basis. 

  • Price Per Item

    • If "Y", the service will be priced per item.   An example would be a   private car transfer.  If not selected, the service will be priced per person. 

  • 1st Night Rate

    • If "Y", the first night cost will be applied to the entire duration of the service. 

  • Divisible

    • Typically buses and guides are divisible with the loaded costs being for the bus or guide.  This cost must be divided by the number of passengers to get the cost per person.  If a service is marked as divisible, it must also be marked as price per room. 

Adding Costs and Prices

The below outlines the process of adding costs and prices to your groups. 

  • Once you create a group, access the group management screen.

  • Once in the group management screen, begin adding your supplier and services.

  • In the grid, add yours to the appropriate suppliers and services.

Note:  If you mark your services as "required", example, your sightseeing tours or transfers on the group, then the costs and prices of those items will be rolled into the total price.  If you mark your services as "optional," the prices will be displayed separately.  

  • Add the costs to your services 

  • Access the Cost Summary Screen

  • Add your markup value (if applicable)

  • Select Save to display your land prices

  • If there are service that are optional, access the optional/supplement summary screen to create a price 

  • Save

  • You can now create your quote letter
