Scenario At Harry's hotel, there are 60 rooms contracted for the first week of January. The business has decided that they will allot 50 rooms to sell and all other rooms sold after the 50 are depleted should be sold on request. However, the business has also decided that they will allow only 5 rooms to be sold within the block "on request" after the 50 are sold. Once the inventory sold reaches 55, they want to cap the block and the state of any room after 55 will now be displays as "closed." In the above scenario, users will enter a value of 55 under the "block cap" and "c" under the cap type. |
