Subscription set-up and history Overview

The subscription screen in Softrip provides companies with the opportunity to present subscription options to their customers.  On this screen, users can also choose where they want these descriptions to display, such as in reservations or in the Softrip CRM.

Once passengers opt into the subscriptions, it will record in the subscription history screen.  Users can then pull the subscriptions from the subscription history screen and send out their subscriptions to their customers.

Note:  The subscription screen in Softrip does not provide companies with the ability to create subscriptions for their customers.  This screen is designed to present customers with the opportunity to opt into the different subscriptions that are already offered by a company, and manage and review these requests as they come in.

The subscription screens are available in the menu under the Marketing subsystem.

Creating Subscriptions

In order to create subscriptions to display to customers, users will access the "subscription setup" screen.  Once in the subscription setup screen, select the plus (+) sign to create new data.

Users will be exposed to a variety of different fields to begin building subscriptions.

Defining the fields

The list ID is a unique ID identifying the subscriptions that is being created.  The List ID will not be exposed to external users and it cannot be edited after the list is created.  Alphanumeric entries are accepted in this field.  This ID is meant for internal users to reference.

These subscription types help with users grouping the subscriptions that are being offered.

If an external users creates a reservation under Company X, they will not see the honeymoon subscriptions assigned to Company Y.

Display and Functions

There are three different options users have to drive the display and function of the subscriptions.  These options not only control if and where the segments will be displayed, but also define the user type that will be able to see those subscriptions.

Subscription History

If subscriptions are being offered to customers to opt into, then useres will need to also access the subscription history screen.
