Contact Preferences Overview

Contact Preferences are special requests and preferences that can be associated to the contacts that exist in the Softrip application.  These requests, whether they are selected during the booking process in reservations or they are manually added to the contact themselve, are forever stored under the contact's profile. 

Softrip provides users with the opportunity to choose the type of special requests/preferences they want to offer, determine whether or not they want to display these requests in resservations, and customize the information displayed with the request.  

In order to customize this information, users can access the contact preferences screen in Marketing. 

Accessing Contact Preferences in Marketing

Note:  There are two areas of Softrip that users can see the contact preferences.  The first is through Reservations and the second is through the CRM.  It is important to note that not all preferences will display in reservations, however, when users setup these prefences in the contact preferences screen, the applicable checkboxes will display based on the contact preference type selected or created.
