Selling through Vacation Builder

Softrip provides users with the opportunity to sell products in three different ways:

1. Packaged pricing with Set Departures

2. Custom Groups 

3. Through Softrip's "Vacation Builder"

The Softrip Vacation Builder provides Softrip Customers with the opportunity to allow their customers to pick and choose what they want to purchase, the date of their trip, and the length of their trip.  Often referred to as "dynamic" packaging, this process provides contacts and passengers with the flexibility of driving their own results as they build their trip.  

Prior to reviewing the steps to build lists, review the Product Overview document.  

Setting up Suppliers, Services, and Rates

In order to sell through Softrip's Vacation builder, "lists" in products will need to be created.  These lists contain different suppliers and services.

Creating Suppliers

• Create the Suppliers that you will sell to your passengers

• Add description and voucher text to customize vouchers and your reservation system

• Store contact details to communicate rooming list and passenger details

• Associated services to your suppliers that you will sell to your passengers

• Define pricing options to your services to meet your supplier contract and business needs

• Associate communication timing to report roomlist and passenger details to your suppliers

• Create mulitple rate periods associated to your services

• Create child rates

Creating Dynamic Packaging Products (Lists) 

• Create lists for hotels, transfers, sightseeing tours, and insurance 

• Add a mark-up value to your lists to be added automatically to the costs

• Add an unlimited number of services to your lists
