We're thrilled to introduce an enhancement to the Product copy process in Softrip NEXT, providing you with more flexibility and control. This update focuses on Departure Dates & Prices, allowing you to decide whether to use the original book dates or update them with the new Product's ranges when copying.

Overview

New Copy Option

When copying a Product as new, you'll now encounter a new option for "Departure Dates and Prices (use book dates from header [BeginBook] - [EndBook])." This addition empowers you to make an informed choice about how Departure Dates & Prices are handled during the copying process.

Default Setting

By default, the new option for copying from the header will be unchecked, allowing you to retain the original Departure Dates & Prices settings from the copied Product.

Updated Label

The existing Departure Dates & Prices option will be relabeled to "Departure Dates and Prices (book dates from copied product)," highlighting the distinction between the two choices.

Default Selection

The "Departure Dates and Prices (book dates from copied product)" option will be checked by default, providing a seamless experience for those who prefer this default behavior.

Inventory Screen Enhancement

Overview

In response to user feedback, we have incorporated a feature into the Inventory screen that streamlines the mass change functionality, specifically for Contracted and Allotted fields. This enhancement introduces the ability to perform mathematical operations—specifically addition and subtraction—providing a more versatile and user-friendly approach.

Key Features

1. Mathematical Operations:

   • Users can now seamlessly perform addition and subtraction when mass updating Contracted and Allotted fields.

2. Customization Setting:

   • A new setting allows users to tailor their experience by removing Multiply/Divide options, ensuring a cleaner and more focused interface.

3. Original Value Calculation:

   • Calculations are based on the original values, promoting accuracy and consistency in your inventory management.

4. Contracted and Allotted Relationship:

   • When Contracted values are updated, the Allotted values are adjusted accordingly, maintaining a synchronized inventory.

5. Similar to Departure Dates & Prices Screen:

   • This enhancement draws inspiration from the Mass Change of Adt Land Price in the Departure Dates & Prices screen, providing a familiar experience.

6. Note:

   • To enhance your workflow, Softrip may update the mass change modal to allow only "Save Later" and not save immediately, ensuring greater control.

Groups NEXT summary screen

Summary

We're excited to bring you an enhancement to the Groups Summary in Softrip NEXT, providing you with valuable information at your fingertips. This update introduces a new column, "Accommodation Status," in the Passenger Information section, enhancing your ability to track the status of services on child reservations.

Overview

Previously available in Net, the "Status" field in the Passenger Information section has been added to Softrip NEXT's Group Summary. This update enables users to easily identify if a service is still On Request for each child reservation.

Key Features

1. System Settings Customization:

   • A new system setting, "Groups Summary Passenger Configuration," allows users to choose whether to display the "Accommodation Status" column.

2. Column Addition in Group Summary:

   • The Group Summary screen now includes the "Accommodation Status" column, providing relevant data to users.

3. Conditional Display:

   • The new column is visible in the Passenger Information section only when the specified system setting, FITGROUPPASSENGERINFO, contains the value ACCSTATUS.

4. Status Values:

   • The "Accommodation Status" column displays the status of each child reservation's accommodation:

     • If any hotel on the reservation has a ConfStatus of "OR," the value is "OR."

     • Otherwise, the value is an empty field.
