Product Name displayed in multi-product edit

When editing a service that is in a Product which is part of a Tour, the user has the ability to select other products within that Tour to be updated at the same time. This section of the system displays the ProductCode and relevant information for the user to make an informed decision. Softrip has now added a Product Name column to this section to make it easier to understand which Product will be updated.

Why it’s important:

To give more information to the user and allow them to make a decision easier on which Products should be updated

Reservations

NDC Fares for Sabre Net

Softrip is starting to get ready to support NDC Fares for Sabre customers in the Reservations Net system. The changes in this release are only within the back-end code to be ready to support shopping and booking an NDC Fare within the system. Look for this project to move forward and be ready to go in 2024.13!

Mobile View shop result summary

Softrip has updated the package shop results summary section to be more readable within the mobile view. This will now display more similar to the “Important Information” section where it will be sectioned off and easier to see, whereas before it was blending in with the top navigation/header and easily missed.

Why it’s important:

More travelers are starting to shop and book on mobile devices. This will allow for a better experience for them to know better what they are booking.

• Inner Air blocks will now be returned in the shop results of a package - Res Next Only

• Block air will add to cart successfully when shopping for children - Res Next Only

Groups

• Cost column for children now introduced in Group Costing screens. Will allow for viewing/changing children costs in the system

• View cost details within the Groups Costing screen will now display the correct breakdown of how the service was costed

Operations

• Confirm Reservations will pop up the memo modal when confirming shared reservations

• Tour Services Inventory will now function correctly with the [TourID] and [TourCode] placeholders in BlockCodes when using multi-tour Products

• General Requests within the PaxMsgDisplay rule will display correctly in the Messages screen

Reservations

• Insurance options will be offered for children if booking children - Res Next Only

• When rolling taxes in to service prices (setting based), pre-night services will now roll them up correctly

• Selling currency of reservation will display the correct currency symbol during booking process - Res Next Only

• Passenger Agreement will display for users even if the reservation’s price is 0, not requiring payment - Res Next Only
